MY VIEW ON WALKTHROUGHS
________________________________________
I've completed this particular game both with and without the help of a guide and
found that although it may have been more exciting without one, it took a hell of a
long time as I found it much harder to find things and balance what I needed to do
against my Urbz needs. I often find this with similar games and because of it I
usually prefer to play with the help of some form of guide. However, I'm sure I am
not alone in believing that many (nearly all, in fact) walkthrough guides are
either too vague or do not help with certain important aspects of a game (ie;
finding non-mandatory items or giving information about the best times and places
to do certain things). I have decided to try to provide gamers with detailed guides
which describe not only how to complete the game, but how to complete it
comfortably... and with style.
Before scrolling down to crack on with the game guide, I really advise you read the
Introduction. It’s not that long and it just lays out a few points which you really
need to bear in mind to be successful in The Urbz.
If you have any suggestions for improvements of this guide, or know of any points
which I have missed or which are incorrect please do not hesitate to email me at
emma_north1@hotmail.com. Similarly if you have the answers to any of the questions
I may raise in part 5.0, please email me. This is much appreciated. I do also
appreciate all of you who contact me just to let me know that they found my guide
useful. This is a big boost for me and I hope I can carry on being of use!
Enjoy!

PREPARING FOR THE GAME
____________________________________________________________
________________________________________
2.1
98TH AVENUE APARTMENT
________________________________________
This is your first of three apartments and is where you will start the game. Here,
you will meet Darius for your character’s first time and reunite with your old
friend Will. Will wants you to show off to the city’s king of reputation by using a
Power Social. This is how you will first begin the game. The apartment is yours to
customise and furnish with items you can purchase out and about in the city. Later
in the game you will be able to own pets for your apartment. You will however have
to pay your rent so watch your spending, particularly early on in the game. I
recommend that you don’t purchase anything unnecessary for your apartment until you
have a comfortable amount of simoleans and are quite into the ways of the game.

2.2
REPUTATION
________________________________________
Reputation truly is the key to everything. In the world of the Urbz, reputation
will get you into VIP Rooms and Midnight Parties, unlock districts and apartments
and most importantly determine your influence over other Urbz. Your reputation is
based on the average of all your relationships so it is important to maintain
strong bonds with all the people you meet and particularly the ones you get on well
with. You can see all your relationships on your XAM’s Relationships Panel.
Positive relationships gain gold stairs, where negative ones are represented by red
stars. Relationships deteriorate over time so stay in touch and respond to your
friends XAM messages. When your Urb’s rep increases, a Reputation Moment occurs
which highlights anything you’ve just unlocked. Check the Goals Panel on your XAM
to see what needs to be achieved in the district and keep an eye out for Rep
Moments and always check what you’ve unlocked, which may be a new district.
________________________________________
2.3
THE XAM
________________________________________
The XAM is an Urb’s all-in-one pager, PDA and mobile phone. It stands
for “eXchange, Access, Messaging”. Once opened it has many functions useful to your
Urb which are described below.
Phone - This allows you to call other Urbz and plan your
social life. You can also order a take away from Take China or inform the Fire
Brigade of a kitchen catastrophe.
Messages - Review text message from other Urbz to keep up-to-date with
what’s happening around the city. The XAM stores the latest 20 messages.
Inventory - This shows you the goods and gadgets your Urb has acquired
and allows you to place them in your apartment or in the separate lodging rooms you
have access to in the districts. You can sell your items at a shop if you don’t
want or need them or are in need of the cash.
Relationships - See a summary of your friends and enemies. Positive numbers
show good relationships where negative numbers indicate bad ones.
Goals - This Panel is critical to keeping on top of what needs to
be done around the city. It shows a city map, your goals per district, statistics
and what’s left to unlock.
Customize - You can soon change your XAM’s style too. Collect new skins
and ringtones throughout the game. You can also get into the game yourself with an
Eye Toy Camera, which allows your images to appear in the game. With a high enough
rep, these images will even replace Darius’ all over the city!
________________________________________
2.4
JOBS
________________________________________
Each district has a different job which your Urb will have to complete at different
levels in order to earn some cash and learn social moves. Jobs have the simoleon
sign floating above them so familiarize yourself with it and select the object to
start the job. Only the current job level and previous levels will be available.
After the brief tutorial it’s time to get to work! To proceed to the next level in
a job, the Urb has to complete the previous level and have the necessary skill
level required or the particular job. Skill Items are needed to improve your Urb’s
skills so buy them and use them. You can also upgrade these tools for further use.
Jobs begin at 4:00am and finish at 11:00pm and coming at any other time will simply
mean you cannot do the job. But be careful because even if you start before the
finish time, if you finish your job after 11pm you will NOT GET PAID! So make sure
you start on your job early.
To get promoted to job levels 2 and 3 you will need certain skills. The skills you
may need are 'Artistic', 'Physical' and 'Mental'. To increase your skills (up to
30), you will need to purchase skill building items which will be unlocked as you
gain reputation. Each item can increase your skill by 10. To further increase your
skill you will need to buy an upgrade for the machine from the shop. Upgrades can
be unlocked as you gain more reputation and each machine can be upgraded twice when
you unlock the ability to do so.
Artistic Skill = Schnizzalator
Physical Skill = Exer-cycle
Mental Skill = Mental Machination Station
Reputations points need to be built up as explained in order to unlock devices and
upgrades for them. The amount of points needed for each device and upgrade are
described below.
45 - Unlocks a new Skill Building Device.
70 - Unlocks a new Skill Building Device.
95 - Unlocks a new Skill Building Device.
75 - Unlocks a Skill Building Device Upgrade.
110 - Unlocks a Skill Building Device Upgrade.
150 - Unlocks a Skill Building Device Upgrade.
200 - Unlocks a Skill Building Device Upgrade.
260 - Unlocks a Skill Building Device Upgrade.
320 - Unlocks a Skill Building Device Upgrade.

2.5
VIP ROOMS
________________________________________
Each district has its own VIP Room where a beefy Bouncer oversees who gets in and
who is embarrassingly rejected. In the day, the coolest people hang out in these
spots and they return at night to party. The best need-satisfying items are found
in here and each time you attend a party in a new district, Darius will give you a
Power Social. To get into the VIP Room in each district you’ll need to be in the
dress code which matches the district and you’ll need to have good rep with the
locals. So get chatting and showing off after spending hard earned simoleans at the
districts one stop clothes shop.

DISTRICTS & APARTMENTS
________________________________________
DISTRICTS
In The Urbz there are a total of nine districts which I have described below. Each
district has its own style and a set of goals which you must complete. Goals can
include socialising with people, building reputation, getting into the VIP room and
completing 3 job levels. I will expand on the districts in the walkthrough.
Neon East
Prepare Sushi in this glowing, high-tech district which oozes with neon-infused
action. The party hits off after midnight at The Pulse.
Cozmo Street
This is the city’s favourite club district. Perform on stage or mix drinks at
Will’s Libation Station.
Diamond Heights
Here in the clouds, towering above the bustling city id where beautiful Urbz hit
the catwalk to strut their stuff. Ogle at these guys or even pick up a modelling
gig of your own.
South Side Bridge
Ask for Louie and you can see how much lady luck is with you in The Back Room.
Explosive job opportunities? Forget about it.
Skyline Beach
This rooftop district in the heart of the city is perfect for catching rays or
dancing under the stars. Why not train up some ferrets for a little cash?
Gasoline Row
The bikes are smoking, the sausages are sizzling and parts are flying at Duke’s
Chop Shop. Hang out with the rough and ready biker Urbz.
Central Station
The hub of the city id home to pierced and painted Urbz with Mohawks and edge. Get
jewelled up and prove yourself at the Fight Cage.
Kicktail Park
Dudes and dudettes flock to the skate ramp and Major Monkey’s Ice Cream kiosk.
Catch some air at Floaters, the only air bar in town.
The Foundry
Playing with fire is an art. Check out the gnashing robo-art or make cash cranking
out your own sculptures.
APARTMENTS
There are three apartments which you will be based in for the time you live there.
You will first start with 98th Avenue 3rd Floor and the others will be unlocked
later when you gain enough reputation. You get to customise your current apartment
with decor and furnishings to make it to your own taste. There is also a unique pet
which comes with each apartment. This can soon be unlocked, but be prepared to
clean up after it! I will expand on apartments in the walkthrough.
98th Avenue, 3rd Floor
Courtesy of your friend Will, this starter apartment is where you’ll settle into
the city and even attract an adorable pet. Customize it when you can afford to and
get those skill items in to get your job promotions.
Blankwood Towers
This is an even more spacious apartment with staggering views. Fill it up with
plush furnishings and decor to make it your own.
Darius’ Penthouse
One day you’ll gain enough rep for this deluxe sky palace to be yours! In the
meantime, keep your eyes peeled for Darius’ Secret Machine...

2.8
THE URBZ NEEDS
________________________________________
Just like any Sims game, the Urbz have their needs. However in this game there are
only 5 needs to concentrate on. The needs affect your mood which in turn affects
how well you will socialise so it is important to keep your Urb happy by topping up
their needs.
Bladder
Avoid embarrassing accidents by relieving your Urb regularly and don’t let their
bladder metre stay in the red for too long! The more you eat and drink the more
frequently you will need the toilet. Each district has its own toilet for your
convenience so avoid the fines for bladder mishaps and get to one in time.
Hygiene
Clean your Urb regularly to stay in a good mood and to ensure other Urbz don’t have
a problem being around you. Showers and baths are best for this, but if you’re
desperate then find the nearest fire hydrant. This also includes a clean
environment so be sure to clean up after your pet and wash up dirty plates.
Hunger
Always know where food is in the districts to satisfy your Urb’s grumbling stomach.
Meals are most satisfying but vending machines will keep them going for a while.
Meals can be found in refrigerators or even ordered as a takeaway if your Urb is
feeling lazy.
Fun
Keep your Urb cheery and bright by boosting their fun levels regularly. There are
all sorts of fun items including TV’s, stereo’s and games machines so find
something they can do on their own or find an activity they can join in with other
Urbz.
Energy
The city may be alive 24/7 but all Urbz need to re-energise. Energy drinks and
Expresso provide a quick uplift but for a true boost your Urb will need 8 hours
sleep in a proper bed. Each district has one to sleep in so there’s no excuse for
letting an exhausted Urb collapse on the floor!

SOME USEFUL TIPS
________________________________________
Here is a list of some tips which I acquired over a long time of playing the game
and I think you might find them useful.
Reducing Pet Pee:
To reduce the amount of pet dirtiness your creatures leave around the apartment
simply select the animal and select "Follow Me". Amazingly the pet will not make a
mess.
Free Vending Machine Food:
If you want to get free supply of food and drink then “Kick” the vending machines.
Sometimes free food will drop out of it. Try it each time you want some food and
then buy some if it doesn’t fall out.
More Free Food:
There are also other sources of free food. One is the Sushi counter at Neon East.
After you've completed your work there simply select the sushi on the table to eat.
There are also bars around in the districts which may have drinks prepared there.
Just go over to them and you may be able to get some free drinks. In Cozmo Street
do the bar tending shop to help yourself to the produce after. The BBQ grill food
is also free of charge if someone else has cooked it.
Cop Fines:
Try not to use the “Gamble” social when a cop is around even if it is a friendly
social as the cop does not like it. He will ‘Fine’ you for gambling. Sometimes he
will even fight with you and beat you up. Also, if he catches you peeing in the
districts he will fight and fine you if he catches you. Avoid these situations if
possible.
Dumpster Dive:
In every district there is a dumpster and there is also one at your apartment. Make
your Urb “Dumpster Dive” there. If you are lucky, you may get a Power Social. This
may take many tries and will get your Urb dirty but it is useful for finding extra
Power Socials.
Fire Safety Code:
You can ignore the fire safety code warning and place a shower in each district’s
room. Make sure you clean up trash and puddles as they count towards the Fire Code
Overload which will cause fire so you can build more when you get rid of useless
things such as these.
Socialising With J.J.:
You need to complete level 3 of any of your jobs. Notice that you get to control
J.J when you are at the job. After you've JUST completed it, you can actually
socialise with him! Really! Select him and socialise. When you do he will in fact
change clothes from the normal light blue outfit that the janitor wears into a
flame jacket with a light blue top inside. Now whenever you are at level 3, J.J.
will always wear that new outfit. Interestingly, there will be another janitor once
J.J. is in his new outfit.

THE WALKTHROUGH
____________________________________________________________
This is where I will go into detail about the different apartments, districts and
their respective goals. I will also cover the different residents in each district
and how to go about completing your goals.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I completed the game on the UK PAL version. I believe that there
MAY be regional variations to it which make the gameplay quite different in that it
takes different amounts of rep points to unlock things and takes different amounts
of Skill Points to take out certain jobs. Please let me know if this is the case
for you and I apologise if yours is different but the guide should still be useful
for you just bear in mind the amounts may sometimes be wrong so just keep on trying.

3.1
REPUTATION POINTS
________________________________________
The following is the amount of reputation points you need to unlock things within
the game. Some people choose only to use this as their game guide and then refer to
parts of the main walkthrough at the end if they were stuck on completing certain
goals or missions. However using this will not show how to find Additional Missions
from certain Urbz as well as a few other points that the walkthrough makes. However
it is still very useful to refer to this table when you get stuck to see what you
need. Reputation points are gained through socialising, wearing the right clothes
and just showing off. They are shown on the hub in the bottom left corner of the
screen with gold stars.
10 - Gets you past the first bouncer.
20 - Unlocks the second district.
25 - Unlocks the first Skill Building Device.
30 - You get a poster in town with your picture on it.
35 - Gets you past the second bouncer.

3.2
APARTMENTS
________________________________________
As mentioned earlier, there are 3 apartments, each with their own unique goals and
pets to unlock. They have to be completed in order.
1. 98th Avenue, 3rd Floor
You will begin in this apartment when you first start the game. Firstly, you will
meet up with your old friend Will who introduces you to Darius. He will also teach
you how to use Power Socials. To use your first Power Social, press X when the
metre appears and wait for it to go and come back. When it is back, press X again
in the grey area for the best result. Here, you will receive 300s cash, a
refrigerator, a shower and a couch which can all be found in your inventory. Check
you XAM for this and place your items in your apartment to start with.
Residents: You and your pet Bulldog (after you've unlocked it)
Goals: Add $750 worth of furniture to 98 Ave, 3rd Floor to unlock a pet
Bulldog.
Add your free furniture and buy a few extra things from the district to
unlock your first pet. You’ll receive an acknowledgement once you complete your
goal.
2. Blankwood Towers
To unlock Blankwood Towers, you must acquire 80 reputation points. You can move
your furniture from your first apartment to this one. Simply return the furniture
to you inventory in your XAM when you are at 98th Avenue and then move house. Place
it all back in here.
NOTE: There is no ‘Secret Closet’ in the PS2 version. Please refer to a GameCube
FAQ for this game if you want to find the closet. This walkthrough is written only
for the PS2 version.
Residents: You and your pet Cat (after you've unlocked it)
Goals: Add $3000 worth of furniture to unlock a pet Cat.
Again, buy furniture.
3. Darius' Penthouse
To unlock Darius' Penthouse, you will need to defeat all the villains and create
Darius’ Secret Machine. Darius will take you to his apartment and give you his
chain. It’s a pretty plush apartment which you can look forward to moving into. You
will also gain access to his Secret Machine which can generate lots of cash for you.
Residents: You and your pet Monkey (after you've unlocked it)
Goals: Add $5000 worth of furniture to unlock a pet Monkey.
Again, buy furniture.
SUGGESTIONS FOR THINGS YOU SHOULD BUY FOR YOUR APARTMENTS:
- Bed
- Toilet
- 2 Kitchen Counters
- Kitchen Sink
- Bathroom Pedestal Sink
- Bathtub
- Dining Table
- 2-4 Dining Chairs
- Rug
- Pictures/Fish Tanks
- All available Skill Building Items & Upgrades (you may want to place these
down and pick them up when you are finished using them so that you always have them
on you if a new upgrade comes out)
________________________________________
3.3
The Districts
________________________________________
There are 9 districts which you can complete in any order. I have written this
walkthrough in the order I completed the game but simply find the district you
selected to begin in and refer to it, before moving onto the next one and finding
that section when you need to. The districts are clearly labelled in the guide for
you to find, however it is much easier and more accurate to begin with Skyline
Beach as I have and the points needed as you progress will be accurate for you.
They will not be if you complete the game in a different order.
PLEASE NOTE: If you do not complete the game beginning with Skyline Beach then the
amount of Reputation Points you need to unlock things such as new districts will
vary. Please refer to the end of this guide and read the Summary for exact Rep
Point amounts and upwards to section ‘2.4 JOBS’ for exactly how many Rep Points you
need to unlock your devices or upgrades. Alternatively, begin the game with the
same district as I have to make life easier on yourself!
To complete all the game missions you are likely to bounce backwards and forwards
in the guide even if you do follow it how I have. But that’s OK because you will
gain things later in the game which will loop up to something you needed to do at
the start. Just enjoy it and go where you please, referring to the guide as and
when you feel like it.

3.3.1
SKYLINE BEACH
________________________________________
RESIDENTS:
S.A. Loco:
Involved in Paparazzi Pop mission
Lil' Bit:
You will get "Bust a Move" from her
Ridiculous D.O.G.:
Teaches “Rap”
Toots Sweet:
Gives Anger Management (An Additional Mission)
Isis Ice:
Teaches “Back Slap”, “Sign Language” & “Tag Face”
PREFERRED SOCIAL MOVES:
“Bust a Move”
“Grab Booty”
“Knuckle Up”
“Rap”
“Throw Signs”
GOALS:
“Build enough reputation to unlock Gasoline Row”
You need 20 reputation points to be invited to Gasoline Row.
“Get past the Bouncer to enter The Red Room”
You need to earn 10 reputation points to get past the Bouncer and into the first
VIP Room. Obviously, you’ll also need to be dressed in the district’s clothes.
You'll learn the Power Social 'Party Bomb' from Darius at the midnight party once
you have access to it and Darius invites you.
“Beat the Ferret Wrassler job”
You need to tame the ferrets. Four buttons will appear on the screen which you must
press on your controller when they reach the circle. You will need to watch your
energy and bladder by using the toilet. Make sure the ferret bar is not red or you
will be fired.
“Beat the Ferret Tamer job”
You’ll need 11 Mental Skill points in order to take on this job. For this you will
need to buy the Mental Skill Building Item, the Mental Machination Station and use
it long enough to build your mental points to its current maximum. You’ll also need
to upgrade it and use it for at least one further Mental Skill Point. Then you need
to tame ferrets in the same way although it may be slightly harder. Watch your
energy and your bladder and don’t forget to socialise.
“Beat the Ferret Master job”
In order to beat the last stage of ferret taming, you’ll need 21 Mental Skill
points and 11 Physical Skill points. You’ll already have the Mental Machination
Station but this will need upgrading for the second time. You need to keep
socialising for the Physical Skill Building Item, the Exer-Cycle, to be unlocked.
This will also need an upgrade. The upgrades you’ll need can be bought from the
cash register after they are unlocked. To do this you will need to socialise, do
some moves and gain reputation. The best way to unlock them is to experiment with
moves on characters and build up your relationships and reputation steadily and
your upgrades should eventually come to you. When you have all the Skill Points you
need, you again need to tame ferrets so watch your energy and bladder as before and
socialise. Make sure J.J. (the janitor) does not get hungry.
“Unlock a Skyline Beach Social Move from Ridiculous D.O.G”
Make friends with Ridiculous D.O.G. and you will learn the “Rap” move.
“Unlock a Skyline Beach Social Move from Lil' Bit”
Make friends with Lil' Bit and you will learn the 'Bust a Move' move which is
useful on Skyline Beach.
“Beat a job to learn a Gasoline Row Social Move”
Complete level one of the Ferret Taming Job and you will learn the “Back Slap” move
from Isis which is useful when you unlock Gasoline Row.
“Beat a job to learn a Central Station Social Move”
Complete level two of the Ferret Taming Job and you will learn the “Sign Language”
move from Isis which is useful when you unlock Central Station.
“Beat a job to learn a Kicktail Park Social Move”
Complete level three of the Ferret Taming Job and you will learn the “Tag Face”
move from Isis which is useful when you unlock Kicktail Park.
“Defeat the villain Harry Snivel”
You must use the Power Social 'Party Bomb' on him to defeat him. You get this from
Darius by visiting him at the midnight party at the Red Room once you can get in.
This Power makes you use a bomb on Snivel and he’ll leave the district for good.
“Tag an object for Rolanda Skye”
When she’s asked you to do this for her, you must find the Graffiti Wall and tag it
with Rolanda Skye's tag.
“Use an ‘XAMShot’ on someone here for Cash Monet”
You need to use the Power Social “XAMShot” on S.A. Loco when Cash Monet has set you
on this mission. This Power an be obtained from Darius at the midnight party in
Diamond Heights.
Additional Mission: “Anger Management” - from Toots Sweet
Once you become friends with Toots Sweet she will give you this mission. You need
to learn the “Tag Face” social by completing level three of the Ferret Taming Job.
You must then use this Social Move on Fergie in Cozmo Street, Neo Flange in The
Foundry and Ally Stile in Kicktail Park.

A1
Every district can have only 2 visitors or outsiders at one time. Your Urb is
considered as one visitor. Other visitors include J.J., the cop, a villain, Darius
and other Sims from the other districts which come over from time to time. Try to
monitor to see if there are any visitors before calling your Sim friend over.
Q2
How do I pay rent?
A2
When it is time to pay rent you will be asked for it. If you refuse to pay it your
items will be reposed if you have any so earn some cash when you get asked the
first time so that you’ll be able to afford it next time he comes for you.
Q3
How do I sell items?
A3
Go to a shop and press circle to switch to your inventory. Find your item and
select to sell it, however you will make a loss compared to how much you bought it
for.
Q4
Can I kill my pet? It's annoying.
A4
Kill it; no. But surround it by building walls and trap it forever; yes. I also
mentioned in my TIPS section how to select the "Follow Me" option and your pet is
less likely to make a mess. Also, you can just practically live in the districts
once you have achieved your items goal.
Q5
Why should I make someone join my Crew?
A5
There are 2 members whom you must recruit for one of your goals. They are String
Bean and Loop D Loop for the Style and Substance mission. However, you can also
recruit other characters. The reason you might want to do this is you get to
control the people in your crew. Simply press L2 and you get to control them by
pressing L2. They cannot take jobs or leave the district while you control them but
you can do most other things.
Q6
How do I create the Darius Secret Machine? I've completed all my goals.
A6
You do not need to create the Machine. Once you have unlocked Darius’ Penthouse by
defeating all the villains, the machine is available for you to use. Look around in
the hall of the apartment. There is a grey table. Once you click on it, you will
see the "Mint Simoleons" option. That is the secret machine. Its very profitable...
try it and you'll know why.
Q7
I can’t find the secret closet in Blankwood Towers, where is it?
A7
There is no secret closet in Blankwood Towers if you are using PS2. The closet can
only be found when you play using GameCube.
Q8
How do I get more skins and ringtones for my XAM?
A8
Each time you complete an Additional Mission set by someone you have become friends
with, you get some skins for your XAM. You collect different ringtones when you
enter the VIP room in the various districts. For example for the first time you
enter the Catwalk in Diamond Heights, you will be given the Diamond Heights
ringtone.
Q9
How to I make the Villain appear?
A9
In each district, there is a villain whom you must use a specific Power Social on
to defeat so that they will never return to the district again. Villains usually
appear around 1-2pm. Do not do any jobs at that time. The villain will also not
appear if the cop is in the district. They will only come if there is no other
visitor in the district (J.J., a cop, visiting Urb, etc.) Just wait patiently and
the villain should appear around this time if there is no other visitor and you are
not doing a job. The villain usually leaves at around 3pm.
Q10
I have completed all goals and I have gotten everybody to join my crew. Is there a
way to beat the game or does it keep going?
A11
Unlike other Sims games, there is no exact ending. No cutscene, movie or credits
will roll. After completing all your goals, most people tend to build up their
reputation points to very high levels, get people to join your crew and control and
customise them. Basically you can do whatever you like.
Q11
How do I use the Power Social bar?
A11
When you use a Power Social, a semi-circle appears with a white section and an "X"
button. To use the Power Social, simply press the X button to start. Let it go to
the end of the bar and when it comes back, quickly press X again. To get the best
results, press X in the grey region.
Q12
I tried tagging Ally Stile's/Neo Flange’s/Fergie’s face numerous times but was
unsuccessful. Every time I try, they grab the spray can from me and tag my Urb’s
face instead. Please help!
A12
Lower your relationship points with her. It’s best to get 0 relationship points.
Try using the Stink Bomb or Mug power socials to lower the relationship points.
However, lowering relationship points alone may not be enough. It’s persistence
which will enable you to tag her face. Go and talk to someone else, try to tag
Ally, fill a need, try to tag Ally, etc. Sooner or later it will work. But it may
take a LOT of tries. I recommend this mission last after you have unlocked
everything as lowing relationships will lower your rep significantly.
